1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Lupy mobile application, the website at lupyai.com, and related support services (together, “Lupy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Lupy is a personalized AI habit-coaching service.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create or use an account, we may process your email address, Firebase user identifier, verification status, and basic Google profile information when you choose Google Sign-In.

Habit and coaching information

We process information you choose to share with Lupy, including habit goals, chat messages, daily timeline details, routines, preferences, constraints, approved action plans, task completions, missed actions, recovery plans, and lifetime progress.

Remembered life context

Lupy may save concise summaries of stable facts you explicitly share—such as your typical wake time, work schedule, natural breaks, energy patterns, or preferred habit cues—so you do not have to repeat them in future conversations.

Voice input

If you use the microphone button, your device or operating-system speech service processes audio to produce text. Lupy does not intentionally save an audio recording. The recognized text is handled like text you type. Your device’s speech provider may process audio under its own privacy terms.

Technical and security information

Our service providers may process device information, app version, network information, IP address, authentication events, and app-integrity signals to operate the service, prevent abuse, and protect accounts.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Create, authenticate, and protect your account.
• Understand your requested habit and relevant daily timeline.
• Generate personalized questions, action plans, and recovery plans.
• Remember useful context and adapt plans as your life changes.
• Save approved habits and record completions or missed actions.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Lupy.
• Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Use.

4. AI processing

Lupy uses Firebase AI Logic and Google Gemini to produce coaching responses. To generate a reply, relevant recent conversation messages, saved life context, and active-habit information may be sent to these services. AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as medical, mental-health, legal, or other professional advice.

We do not intentionally use private Lupy conversations for advertising. Google processes requests under the terms and safeguards that apply to the Firebase and Gemini services used by Lupy.

5. Services that process information

Lupy currently relies on Google services including:

• Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In for account access.
• Cloud Firestore for approved habits, progress, and remembered user context.
• Firebase App Check and Play Integrity for abuse prevention.
• Firebase AI Logic and Google Gemini for AI-generated coaching.
• Google Play services for distributing and protecting the Android app.

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We may add or replace service providers as Lupy evolves and will update this policy when a material change affects your data.

6. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and Lupy does not currently show third-party advertising. We disclose information only:

• To service providers that operate Lupy on our behalf.
• When you direct us or give permission.
• To protect users, investigate abuse, or maintain service security.
• When required by law or a valid legal process.
• As part of a business reorganization, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention and deletion

We generally retain account and habit information while your account is active. Conversation text is used to answer you, while concise remembered context may remain in your account until it is updated or deleted.

You can request deletion at lupyai.com/delete-account. After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize the account and associated data within 30 days unless retention is required for legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons. Limited backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before routine deletion.

8. Your choices

• You can choose what personal context to share with the coach.
• You can deny microphone permission and type instead.
• You can sign out at any time.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information.
• You can stop using Lupy and uninstall the app.

Uninstalling the app alone does not delete cloud account data. Use the deletion process if you want the account and associated data removed.

9. Security

We use measures intended to protect information, including encrypted network connections, Firebase Authentication, user-scoped database rules, and app-integrity checks. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and protect access to your device and email.

10. Children

Lupy is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to Lupy, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

11. International processing

Lupy and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection laws may differ, and we use provider and contractual safeguards appropriate to the services we use.

12. Changes and contact
